How to add a control in addin’s menu in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012?

Add a control in Addin's menu

1. Create a display menu item of required functionality and link it to required classes/query etc.
2. Now in AOT >> Expand the Menu’s node >> find SysContextMenu node, expand the node.
3. Now drag and drop the display menu item created above.
